Download the Update for PocketPC (Demo Version)

The demo version is a fully functional version of Strummer with the exception that the Save feature has been disabled (but you can still load the demo songs) and the number of patterns and the song length are restricted.

Strummer works on all WindowsCE platforms (PPC and HPC with WindowsCE 2.x, and PocketPC with WindowsCE 3.0). To run Strummeryou need to install the PocketC runtime module (Version 2.0) that is available at no charge.

Strummer works on PPC and HPC platforms (WindowsCE 2.x). If you are using a PocketPC (WindowsCE 3.0) you need to download a special version because PocketC, the programming language Strummer was developed in, has a bug that hides the menu bar. After installation of the standard version, simply replace the file Strummer.app in the Strummer directory (on your PocketPC) with the file of same name from the update. Note that the update does not contain all files necessary to run Strummer, you have to download (and install) the standard demo version first.

The full version does not have the restrictions of the demo version regarding save functionality, the number of patterns, and the song length. In addition, as a registered user you will automatically receive all further updates of Strummer free of charge.
